Beginner Rivers

All of our trips are open to anyone of any level/experience, but the rivers below have naturally lower danger levels. That’s definitely not to say that you won’t BE WET! Take a look at our schedule to check dates!


Wenatchee

  • Closest Town: Leavenworth, WA

Without a doubt, the Wentachee is the most popular BEWET trip. It offers the perfect combination of close proximity to Seattle and solid Class III whitewater action. This river is a perfect first time river but also plenty exciting for returning members. Each year, you can catch this river at a different flow which makes this river one of the most fun to raft!



Sauk

The Sauk is a beautiful glacial fed river surrounded by moss covered trees and big views of the surrounding mountains. The rapids are known for having boulder gardens, waves, and holes you and the crew will have to navigate through.

Methow

  • Closest Town: Pateros, WA

Typically the first BEWET all member trip for each season, the Methow is nestled in between Winthrop and Pateros Washington and offers scenic views on the river with class III whitewater and also on the drive out via Rt 20 or Rt 2. This is a great first trip for beginners and a refreshing start to the season for returning members!

White Salmon

  •   Closest Town: BZ Corner, WA

Arguably one of the most scenic trips due to the scenic slot canyon walls that surround you for most of the White Salmon. The White Salmon is a class IV river that requires tight technical moves. Flowing from glacier melt from Mt. Adams, this river is sure to be a change of pace from the Wenatchee whitewater.


Thompson

With rapids named Kitchen, Cutting Board, Witches Cauldron, and Jaws of Death the Thompson is a river whose sole purpose is to prep, cook, and eat you! This is THE big water rating trip of the year for experienced rafters and first timers looking to push the envelope.


Tieton

With the snowmelt almost gone and summer quickly ending, everyone flocks to the Tieton for the last runs of the season. This river runs this time of year due to the so called “flip-flip” where they draw down the lake and increase the flow from this river to allow Salmon to swim up another tributary of the Naches.
