Aaron first got wet with BEWET as an intern on the Wenatchee River in 2007 during his first summer in the Pacific Northwest. After that he was hooked and signed up for the White Salmon and Thompson trips that year. He moved to Seattle in the late summer of 2009 after finishing his degrees, became a guide trainee in 2010 season, was promoted to Guide status midway through the 2010 season, and quickly found his specialization in taking crews composed of all females down rivers in 14 foot boats. Aaron only dumped one boat full of girls (over Husum Falls) and is proud of this accomplishment. Aaron hates dealing with money, and therefore was elected as the Treasurer for the 2011 season and re-elected for 2012 since he still had the checkbook anyway. Aaron really enjoys the atmosphere of BEWET and the company of the people who come out to share good times enjoying the river and the outdoors. He loves the regions the club goes rafting in and you'll often find him going to climb rock, mountains, or the occasional tree after getting off the river. Constraining his time in the mountains, Aaron does math to make sure planes don't implode as an Analyst in 747/767/777 Floor Structures. He currently resides in Seattle and his favorite color is green.
