Club Overview

Do you want to...

  • Safely raft a river?
  • Get an adrenaline fix AND a tan - at the same time?
  • View North America's most scenic gorges from views that most people only dream about?

If so, the Boeing Employees Whitewater & Touring (BEWET) club might be the right fit for you!

BEWET offers its members the opportunity to experience all of the above, and do so with like-minded outdoor enthusiasts in the great Pacific Northwest! The club schedules trips on some of the most popular (and picturesque) whitewater rivers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and even British Columbia! Trips run almost every weekend during the prime rafting season from May through September.  If you're really interested, classes are offered to become a more informed passenger or even a potential future guide! BEWET is always looking for new talent and enthusiastic members to carry on and grow the BEWET name.

Membership is open to all current and retired Boeing employees, and spouses and dependents of Boeing employees as long as the related employee or retiree is a current BEWET member. Non-Boeing employees, such as contractor, vendors, customers and government officials that are assigned to full time company support can also be club members. Non-Boeing individuals can also be associate club members as long as they are provide a benefit to the club.

BEWET operates as a 501(c)7 non-profit organization and owns all of its own rafting and transportation equipment. Annual dues are $20 for individuals and $25 for families. Members of the club are eligible to raft some of the most beautiful rivers in North America with experienced guides. Come get a little wet and see what you think!

If whitewater is not your cup of tea, BEWET also has sea kayaks and canoes for your flat water needs!
